Informations on materials and shipping methods of Gufobardo creations
Every object I create is to be considered for Collections and not as a toy. Thus its suggested not to buy Dolls or Witches or Angels for children unless under your own responsibility: many parts are glued and painted with particulars that could be swallowed by children, watch out!
Every knitted or crocheted creation is made with yarns bought from the best Italian yarn suppliers, who guarantee for it. The washing and keeping methods of the cloths are included and Im always at your disposal for any suggestion and/or reparation in case you have problems with them (watch out, if the object has been clearly manumitted it wont be fixed, the shipping is paid by the addresser, read the section Complaints Warrantee Cancellation).
The fabrics are previously washed and are not subject to any change. Each material is commonly used and is not to be considered allergenic, yet, if you might have any particular sensibility to any material, please let me know it!
Each herbalist product is bought in herbalists shops that sell tested biological products: I put the origin of spices and tisanes together with the bill and Im at your disposal for any clarification about the materials used.
MATERIALS
The main material I use is cotton cloth (American, Italian, English) and vintage cloth found in antique trade markets, in some cases they have been made older. The decorative ribbons can be in velvet, satin voile or crochet. The mohair for hair comes form America and Europe. The wooden buttons are partially handmade and partially bought; the wood used is natural or colored with nontoxic aniline. The buttons realized with synthetic pastes (Fimo, Cernit) resist also to washing machine. All the essential oils that scents the Dolls or pot pourri put inside of some of them (lavender, chamomile, verbena, mallow, ferns, spices, karkade) are biologic. The spices that decorate the dolls are mainly star anise, cinnamon and cloves; meanwhile the barriers, the leaves, the woods, the dry grasses and the cortexes, the shells, the stones and the flowers are personally taken, as for recover materials (handles, bulbs, metal wires, etc). The copper wire is used to make the articulations of many dolls because, besides the decorative effect, it does not oxidize and does not rust. The bodies of my creations are stuffed with synthetic nonallergic wool.The stones used in crystal therapy are bought and certified by www.manipura.it that can give you any indication about the properties, the uses and the history of each stone.
I also use terracotta and papier mache painted with acrylics and watercolors and fixed with final nontoxic varnish; meanwhile powders and rouges to retouch the color of the skin have been bought in perfume shops that guarantee that the products are not allergic.
The metal or brass bells of every dimension, the colored feathers, the glass pearls, the natural and colored Raffia, the synthetic fir and the fabric or plastic flowers, are sewed with cotton yarn or glued with nontoxic glues.
Since each product is not serially created, there could be differences from the pictures on the Gufobardo website: this is why a fabric could be used up or because a certain ribbon is in short supply or because the production of a certain material is over.
I will inform you about any change at the moment you buy the object, and we can agree on possible changes.
The drawing though, being my property, guarantees that the form, the dimensions and the final aspect are exactly like shown in the pictures.

The entire handicraft production is based on my personal design protected by copyright and each product is signed and numbered. Violations to copyright are not allowed!
The purchase is to be considered subject to the Law n. 185 of 22/05/1999, according to which the buyer can recess from the contract. Purchases via internet, thus, are included in this case.
Complains Warrantee Cancellation
The customer can RECESS FROM THE CONTRACT within 10 working days since the delivering day: he is supposed to quickly send the merchandise back making sure that it is NOT DAMAGED AND NOT UTILIZED. The package is to be sent within and not further the tenth day from the receiving date (the postmark is considered as an evidence) to the address: Gufobardo di Stefania Morgante, via mar Ligure 36, 09045 Quartu S. Elena, CA-ITALIA.This right consists in the faculty of giving back the good purchased to the seller and in the refund of the prize of the good. The right of recess is not applied to products that have been manumitted or badly packed by the customer or when it is difficult to detect the original damage. Products bought from businesses and institutions are excluded from the right of recess.
Gufobardo by S. Morgante, as contemplated by the law mentioned, will refund the sum spent for the merchandise (shipping costs excluded) within the law times.
IN NO EVENT WILL WE PICK UP PARCELS EITHER IN COUNTERSIGN OR IN ASSIGNED PORT.
Return procedures
Send a registered letter together with the package to the address: Gufobardo di S. Morgante, via mar Ligure 36, 09045 Quartu S. Elena, CA, with which you communicate that you wish to use the Recess Right and you mention your bank account number, the CAB code, the ABI code, the name of the bank and the number of the agency, so that I can make a money transfer. Its important also to write the reason of the return, the bill or the receipt number and, in case of partial recess, the name of the item or items.Your telephone number will be useful for any communication or clarification or in case of troubles with the delivery.
Attention:
In case of return of items utilized or damaged Gufobardo can ask for refund.
The shipping costs are to be paid from the sender, except from items sent by me and arrived damaged. In this case I will pay for the shipping costs. Do not send packages with ordinary mail because they dont have the electronic track: the package could get lost!
Always attach the bill or the receipt or the shipping bill and the reason of your complain to the package, thank you.
Privacy Law
Your personal data will be memorized and exclusively used in the direct commercial relationship. All the data will be used in respect of your privacy according to the law 675/96 and will not be communicated to firms different from Gufobardo or used for any other purpose.Prices
All the prices are VAT included and do not include the shipping costs. Gufobardo can change the prices without forewarn if special events make it indispensable.I will pay for the packing expenses. For sums exceeding 250 I will pay for the shipping costs, but just within Italy.
If you receive the package damaged, please take it anyway and sign adding the following sentence: "Damaged Package, I accept it with reserve" and contact me immediately.
Payment
THE BILL or the receipt IS ALWAYS ATTACHED TO THE PACKAGE (specify if you wish to have the bill or the receipt at the moment of the purchase).Payments can be done by money transfer just within Italy (email me for bank data) or by credit card directly online, through a server, based on SSL security protocol, which guarantees data safety. The main currency used is the Euro.
Shipping is personalized according to customers needs.
Delivery
The shipping of the merchandise you ordered will be made within the time agreed by email between the customer and myself. Not all the product, in fact, can be realized in a few days, but I will try to be as fast as I can. Please note that the handmade product has its own times to be realized and this is why you chose me among many at last!The merchandise will be delivered by express or by mail service. (Please mention the delivering place where there will be somebody present at the moment of the delivering). In case you have any complaints, please let me know by email right away.
