Operation Teddy Bear is an organization which was founded in Canada by Hazel Green in 1999, to help children affected with cancer.
Since then many people from all over the world have cross stitched squares made white 5.5 count aida cloth.
These squares are then sewn into quilts and either raffled off to send children with cancer to Camp Trillium or to be given directly to children battling cancer. Some quilts are donated to other organizations that help children with cancer also.
Gufobardo together with Maria Luisa, Angela, Anna Lisa, Giovanna and Eleonora have contributed with a wallhanging created in almost 2 years, between looking for interested people in joining the project.Deals, shipments, delays, problems, doubts... all at the end was done soon our "Christmas with the Heart" will be donated at the "Canderlighters" Childhood Cancer Support Programs.

For every square you will need
5.5 ct white aida
lots of imagination and willingness to do it!
Measurements of the picture at least 26x26 cm
Measurements of the embroidery min. 15x15 max 23x23 cm
Subject
You may stitch any teddy of your choice as long as it fits in the above size of square.
